Our client, an Engineering firm in Cary, is seeking an experienced, team-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide general support to the office.  Tasks will be varied and ability to multi-task and prioritize is key.

Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Clerical functions such as copying, faxing, filing, scanning and printing documents
  • Order office supplies
  • Backup reception duties -- answer multi-line phone; greet clients and visitors
  • Manage expense reports and mileage logs
  • Provide billing information to project managers
  • Work with vendors for maintenance requests and project needs
  • Coordinate travel; maintain conference room schedule

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in a traditional administrative assistant role, providing general support to office or department
  • Experience in an engineering firm is a plus
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • High-energy, can-do attitude; willingness to take on any task, big or small
  • Skilled at anticipating the needs of others
