Our client, a consulting firm in Raleigh, is seeking an experienced, team-oriented Administrative Assistant to assist the Office Manager and provide general support to the office. Tasks will be varied and the ability to multi-task and prioritize is key.

Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Clerical functions such as opening/sorting mail, copying, faxing, filing, scanning and printing documents
  • Reception duties -- answer multi-line phone; greet clients and visitors
  • Order office supplies
  • Manage expense reports and mileage logs
  • Set up projects and enter contracts in system
  • Coordinate travel; maintain conference room schedule
  • Run errands as needed


  • 3+ years in a traditional administrative assistant role
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with Deltek Vision strongly preferred
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Skilled at anticipating the needs of others
  • High-energy, can-do attitude; willingness to take on any task, big or small
  • Experience with an engineering firm and/or supporting directors is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check, drug screen and DMV check required
