Our client, a rapidly-expanding pharmaceutical firm in the RTP area, is actively recruiting for an exceeding sharp and capable Marketing professional to assume key role on its Commercial team.

Key Things to Note:

  • This is an all-encompassing role that involves managing the work of agencies, developing promotional materials, driving digital campaigns, coordinating events and meetings, conducting market research, etc. Seek candidate excited about “doing it all.”

  • Numerous launches are planned.  Ideal candidate will have launched and run multiple campaigns.

  • Company markets to Specialty Physicians, and similar experience will be important.

  • There will be substantial work in support of the field sales force. Experience “carrying the bag” is preferred.

  • Position will begin as an independent contributor role, with the expectation of taking on Management duties in the near future.  Seek candidate who enjoys a hands-on role.

  • This Associate Director/Sr Product Manager (client is open to both levels) will partner with both internal and external collaborators to achieve shared goals. Superb project management skills will be essential.

Specific Duties Will Include:  

  • Leads development of brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and tactical plan.

  • Manages Marketing initiatives including field promotional materials, patient education, professional programs, and advertising.

  • Develops and enhances products’ strategy, value proposition, and multi-channel tactics through conceptualization, market research, competitive analysis, etc.

  • In collaboration with internal and external partners, develops print and digital promotional material (personal and non-personal).

  • Leads new material through concept, development, regulatory and legal review, production and dissemination to the end user.

  • Proactively brings new strategies to enhance product performance, portfolio, and marketing initiatives.

  • Leads execution of industry convention and launch meeting plans.

  • In collaboration with company leadership, develops annual Marketing plans and quarterly plans of action.

  • Collaborate with Sales Training to ensure optimal rollout and execution of new material and initiatives.

Selected candidate will offer a related degree and 4+ years of directly-related experience in pharmaceutical marketing, including exposure to most functions noted above, in a Specialty Pharma space. 1+ years of experience as a pharmaceutical sales rep would be highly valuable.
