Our client, a Cary-based company that provides support for property damage claims involving trees, shrubs, etc. (typically due to severe weather events), is actively recruiting for a very sharp and capable Customer Service professional to join its team.

This company supports insurance companies and property owners with a wide range of services from basic tree removal to complex risk assessments for commercial properties that invest heavily in landscaping (golf courses, resorts, etc.).  

The Customer Service Reps provide critical support – often during stressful times. They are part of a national network of professionals who act as first responders following major weather events – focusing on tree removal.

These CSRs assist property owners with emergency response services and expedite the processing of claims with insurance carriers.  They engage and manage tree removal crews in the field from the moment a claim is received until the claim is successfully closed. 

Specifics include:

  • speaking with property owners
  • coordinating tree removal vendors
  • doing follow ups with the field crews
  • updating claims files
  • as needed, tracking the payment of insurance proceeds as well as payments by property owners for services rendered.

In addition, this CSR will Participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 emergency phone line and e‐mail claim activity.

This is a Direct Hire role and Company will pay to $40k (plus rich benefits) to attract and retain the right person.

Targeted candidate will offer a related degree and 2+ years of customer service experience with a restoration company, insurance company or other directly related experience.  Claims management bkgd will be essential.
