Our client, a Chapel Hill-based wealth management firm in high growth mode, is actively recruiting for a very sharp and capable candidate to join its Client Services team.

Key Things to Note:

  • This is a diverse position combining portfolio support duties (e.g., client onboarding, meeting materials, etc.) with complex performance reconciliations and reporting work. Seek candidate with the capacity for the complex as well as the diligence for the routine.
  • This Associate will be responsible for assisting with the reporting process. Experience with reconciling and reviewing numbers and data will be important.
  • Firm utilizes a variety of systems to maintain their information including Fidelity Wealthscape and Salesforce (CRM). Right candidate will be tech savvy and bring an aptitude for learning new software.
  • This is a client-facing role. Seek responsive and attentive communicator - one with keen attention to detail and an absolute commitment to excellence.
  • Position will be hybrid (3 days/week in office) and Covid vaccinations are preferred.

Selected Duties:

  • Preparing, reconciling, and reviewing client portfolio performance reports
  • Reconciling client balance sheets against custodial and capital account statements
  • Executing and organizing trading and money movement requests from clients
  • Onboarding clients including preparing necessary documentation
  • Communicating with external service providers on behalf of clients
  • Organizing and preparing materials for client meetings (agendas, reports, binders, etc.)
  • Maintaining and updating client data in all systems

Targeted candidate will offer a degree (financial preferred) and 2+ years in a high expectations business office setting. Experience in a paraprofessional role that involves review/reconciliation of numbers and processing of documentation and data would be valuable. 

As important, we seek a meticulous candidate with the demonstrated capacity to keep quality high despite a high quantity of transactions and detail. Impeccable work product will be essential.
