Our client, a prominent insurance company in the Raleigh area, is actively recruiting for a sharp, organized, and detail-oriented Office Adjuster to join its Medical Claims Department.

The Medical Claims Department processes auto insurance claims for customers statewide. This Claims Adjuster deals primarily with the investigation of medical claims and negotiation of settlements. This is an exciting opportunity for an attentive, customer-focused individual who enjoys putting all of the puzzle pieces together.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Claims processing – investigating auto accidents, policy coverage, and damages
  • Reviewing medical bills and determining relevancy to accident
  • Maintaining detailed notes on adjustment of losses
  • Facilitating medical payments
  • Assisting District Claims Manager in other tasks as assigned

We seek quick learners who are willing to take on a range of duties as needed – being flexible and able to multi-task will be critical for success. In addition, the ability to work well in a team setting as well as maintain productivity independently is required. Ideal candidates will offer previous customer service and clerical experience. Prior claims experience a plus, college degree preferred.

Candidates will be required to obtain their Adjuster License once on board with the company.
