Customer Service Representative (Insurance, Call Center) Raleigh, $15/hr
Our client, a rapidly growing insurance company in the Raleigh area, seeks an upbeat and friendly Customer Service Representative. This is an immediate, temp-to-hire need that pays $15 per hour.
They have a wonderful group of people who are welcoming and knowledgeable, and they are looking for candidates with a positive attitude to complete the team.
This is a call center position so the selected candidate will have good phone etiquette with strong interpersonal skills.
The main function of this role is to provide billing support to their customers and agency force so someone with analytical skills will do well.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Correspond with agents, insured, and third parties daily, including responses to emails, premium breakdown requests, and complaints from the Department of Insurance and Better Business Bureau.
- Record work on the Customer Service database.
- Complete follow-up work on all problems received via telephone or written correspondence.
- Maintain Individual weekly production reports.
- Process credit card payments.
- Set up Manual Payment Schedules and Promissory Notes.
- Assist in the sorting and routing of incoming mail to the unit.
- Review and research information for Continuous Coverage Reviews and determine whether requests should be forwarded to management for final decision.
Our client is targeting those with the ability to handle a high call volume and work well under pressure. Tasks will be varied, and the pace will be fast, so candidates will need to be flexible to shift gears quickly.
Ideal candidates will offer a four-year college degree or comparable work experience. This is an immediate, temp-to-hire need that pays $15 per hour.
