Our client, a Raleigh-based pharmaceutical company in high growth mode, has an immediate need for an exceedingly sharp and versatile candidate to join its Customer Support team.

This company is a global provider of generic pharmaceutical products. Customers include wholesalers, retail pharmacies, insurance companies, hospitals, clinics, government agencies, etc. They have questions about invoices, purchases orders, deliveries, expiration dates, pricing, contracts, etc. Volume is high, many questions require extensive research and timely resolution is critical.

Company will pay generous wage to attract a CSR who demonstrates the ability to manage high volume, juggle multiple callers, reconcile discrepancies and independently resolve a wide range of concerns.

Key Things to Note:

·         This is a Direct Hire role with a “hybrid” schedule (3 days in Raleigh office; 2 days home-based).

·         This CSR will report to the Manager of Customer Relations and, once trained, act as her deputy, particularly for escalated issues. Seek quick study who enjoys a point-person role.

·         Some customer issues have a financial component. Seek candidate with strong numerical aptitude. Advanced Excel will be important.

·         This is a regulated industry and documentation requirements are strict, clear and important. Seek candidate with the discipline and compliance orientation to consistently apply these standards.

·         The company requires COVID vaccinations for all employees.

Selected Duties:

·         Communicate with customers via email and phone calls to answer any questions about purchase orders, invoices, deliveries, pricing, etc.

·         Work on back order releases when required. Ensure expedited deliveries, when possible.

·         For new products and/or orders, ensure proper inclusion in ERP system.

·         Ensure customer contracts are properly loaded in ERP system.

·         Work closely with wholesalers and other customers to manage credits, returns, expired products, etc.

·         Backup other Customer Service personnel in the conduct of their duties.

Targeted candidate will offer an Associate's degree and 3+ years of client service and/or operations experience. Some background working with invoices, purchase orders, and/or fulfillment functions would be valuable. Pharma or related industry experience would be a plus.

This is a unique environment that has protocols that are driven by regulation and product complexities. Extensive training will be provided. We seek a quick study who, once trained, will be a versatile and capable problem-solver and leader.
