E-Commerce/Customer Service - $15-17/hour (Contract-to-hire)
Our client, a global distribution company based in the Raleigh area, is seeking a bright, versatile team player for a unique role-- a customer service representative who will also handle sales support.
This company has developed a stellar reputation as an area leader in supplying not only simple extension cords, but also larger custom cords for international companies. They are expanding and looking to add to their team, and they need a flexible, enthusiastic CSR who is eager to learn their products and overall business. Someone who is open to handling all aspects of customer support, while also assisting the sales team with special requests and projects.
Responsibilities will include:
- Receiving calls/emails to schedule client orders
- Generating quotes
- Tracking orders in the database
- Client communication and correspondence
- Preparing reports and keeping information updated in the database
- Assisting customers with selection of the correct products
- Following up to ensure customer satisfaction and providing feedback to the team
Ideal candidates will offer prior customer service experience, preferably in a high call volume setting. Proficiency in MS Office is expected, as well as the ability to quickly learn proprietary software. Additionally, we seek those who possess excellent communication skills, the disposition needed to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to details. Must be able to work collaboratively with the sales team. Timely and effective follow up skills are critical.
