Our client, a highly successful real estate consulting firm in Cary, NC, has an immediate need for a very sharp, capable and self-directed candidate to provide administrative and financial support for the company principals and management team.

This is a Direct Hire opportunity.  It will be primarily remote, but also will require regular visits to the company’s offices in Cary.  Seeking local candidates only.

Key Things to Note:

  • This role combines bookkeeping responsibilities (invoicing, payables, reconciliations, etc.) with administrative support duties (travel, calendaring, etc.).  Seek skilled point-person who enjoys a varied role. 
  • The company uses QuickBooks for all accounting functions.  QuickBooks knowledge is required.
  • The company has consultants throughout the US who will regularly call in for information or support.  Seek candidate who will work exceedingly well with this remote constituency.
  • This is a high-end, professional business.  Seek outstanding client service professional who is responsive, business savvy and highly polished.

Selected Duties:

  • Day-to-day bookkeeping including Payables and Cash application
  • Payroll processing
  • Reconciliation of bank/cash accounts
  • Reconciliation of income accounts
  • Payment for consultant invoices
  • A/R Collections
  • Management and coordination of calendars, meeting schedule and other activities.
  • Travel arrangements.
  • Drafting, coordination and distribution of correspondence.

It is a newly-created role opened due to increased client demand.  It is an important role for the business, and company pay excellent wage to attract and retain an excellent candidate.

Targeted candidate will offer a related degree and 3+ years providing financial and administrative support in a high end, professional office setting.  Experience supporting consultants or other similar professionals is preferred.

  • QuickBooks expertise; Knowledge of MS Office Suite and ZOOM
  • Strong financial acumen including extensive work with reconciliations
