Our client, a Raleigh-based company that provides a wide range of property management and community management services, is actively recruiting for an exceedingly sharp and capable candidate to join its Client Services team.  Although some experience in real estate would be preferred, client is open to training candidates from other industries who bring strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.

Key Things to Note:

Ø  This is a Direct Hire position.  It is hybrid, with time split between remote and the company’s Raleigh offices.

Ø  The position is in the company’s HOA division (Homeowners’ Association). The company is hired by HOAs to provide shared services to residential communities (landscaping, dues collections, community events, etc.).

Ø  Position will involve acting as point-person for assigned communities.  This individual will handle inquiries and complaints as well as coordinate events, address maintenance issues, track finances, and consult with HOA boards/committees.  Seek a versatile candidate with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. 

Ø  This individual will field complaints and concerns from homeowners.  Right candidate will bring superb customer service and communication skills.  Experience in retail, hospitality, education and other industries (or volunteer activities) with extensive client relations would be valuable.

Selected Responsibilities:

Ø  Act as liaison between the Board, committees, homeowners and vendors  

Ø  Perform/direct administrative/management duties defined by the contract and as requested by the Board

Ø  Oversee the physical aspects/maintenance that are the Association’s responsibility through issuance of work orders, collection of bids, oversight of projects, and vendor interaction

Ø  Field and address inquiries and concerns from board members as well as other residents. Provide resolutions that are compliant with policies and contracts.  Document thoroughly

Ø  Attend Board and Membership meetings and prepare related documents

Ø  Provide guidance and recommendations to the Board regarding Association policies

Ø  Provide fiscal management via budget preparation, coding/approval of invoices, review monthly financial reports and counsel Board on collection matters as needed

Ø  Perform regular site visit reviews of Association property and areas under Association jurisdiction

Ø  Enforce the Association rules and regulations as allowed by the Declaration of Covenants and NC law

Ø  Assist Board in administration of contracts as may be engaged on behalf of the Association

Targeted candidate will be a superb communicator and problem-solver.  Extensive experience working with the public and addressing inquiries or concerns will be important.  Other priorities include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Many communications are done through email
  • Strong administrative/project management skills
  • Sound financial acumen; experience with budgets a plus
  • Calm, level-headed demeanor
  • Responsiveness, reliability and resourcefulness
