Our client, a material handling supplier in Raleigh, is looking for a part-time Receptionist to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, and the schedule is M-F from 9am-3pm.

This is a great opportunity for someone who likes being “the helper” and go-to person of a company. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, professional, and possess a strong customer service attitude. Client is seeking candidates who are looking for part-time roles only. This is your chance to join an emerging company with an excellent employee culture and team.

This position will be busy and a very visible role. It is a dynamic environment with many departments and handling incoming calls. Candidates must have time management and great attention to detail. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they enter the lobby
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Provide accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Perform other clerical duties to support internal employees


  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
