Recovery Agent/Collections (Legal) - Direct Hire/$40-$42k

Our client, a Raleigh-based firm that provides international financial and customer support to Fortune 100 companies, has an immediate need for a compassionate, patient, and client service-oriented Collections Specialist to join its Operations team.

The firm (a large law firm) assists companies and banks in setting up payment plans for customers who are struggling to pay back debt. Their customers may be overextended on credit cards, mortgages, etc.  These Customer Service Agents work with the customers to set a plan that will work for them.

This well-established firm strives to provide a high level of customer satisfaction to all its clients. They also pride themselves on providing a well-rounded training program to anyone who is open to learn.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled Customer Support professional who has 1-2 years of collections experience.  They seek someone who is committed to positive customer relations as well as personal growth and success in the company. Good financial acumen would be helpful.

Specific duties include:

• Negotiating payment plans and settlements with debtors.
• Communicating by phone and electronically with client representatives and other individuals in a timely and thorough manner.
• Processing payments.
• Updating electronic case files.
• Managing a personal collections portfolio.
• Supporting other agents when needed, as well as handling other assigned duties.
