Our client, an international Financial and Accounting Advisory firm that is experiencing explosive growth, is actively recruiting for exceedingly sharp candidates, with strong accounting and analytical bkgds, to join its outstanding team.

This firm was founded by former Big 4 accountants who had a vision of building a top-notch financial and accounting consulting firm by employing other Big 4 (or 6 or 8) accountants who no longer wanted to work in Audit.

They would engage in a wide range of other specialties such as:

Financial Analysis and Reporting, including SEC

            IPO prep

            Technical Accounting

Due Diligence

            SOX compliance

            New ASC Accounting Standards

This is complex, analytical work using similar skills but in a new and interesting way.

The firm is growing exponentially and is looking to hire several more people.

Compensation will be generous.  Overtime is kept to a minimum, and paid.

Other Things to Note:

  • These are remote positions.  Offices are located in Charlotte, Philadelphia, DC and others.
  • CPA/MBA preferred but not required.  2+ years with a Big 4 firm is a must.
  • Accountants/Consultants are assigned to various projects throughout the year.  They work on teams that are charged with analyzing data and/or results, interpreting technical accounting applications, performing due diligence, ensuring compliance, delivering reports, etc. etc. etc.  It is very interesting work for accountants who particularly enjoy analysis and strategy.
  • Positions are also available at the Manager and Senior Manager levels.

Selected Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of operational due diligence for complex transactions (i.e. – acquisitions & divestitures, stock offerings and debt raises, IPO’s).
  • Accounting projects focused on carving out business units/subsidiaries.
  • Preparation of financial and regulatory information in accordance with SEC and regulatory requirements (i.e. – 10K’s, 10Q’s, S-1 and S-4 filings, audit coordination).
  • Research & documentation projects related to new ASC accounting standards (e.g. ASC 842, ASC 606).
  • Financial Planning & Analysis and Valuation services
  • Process improvement projects and implementation of changes.

Targeted candidates will offer an Accounting degree and 3+ years of experience including 2+ years in a Big 4 firm.  Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC Reporting will be important.

Other priorities include;

  • Keen analytical skills
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Strong technical aptitude and proficiency; Expert Excel assumed and required
  • Congenial, team-oriented work style
  • Unwavering commitment to quality

Finally, we seek a quick study who will readily acclimate to new projects and demonstrate the ability to add value and insight.  This is a great company with a great culture.  We seek exceedingly sharp and capable go-getters who will contribute broadly and significantly.  Rewards will be substantial.

Please forward resume for prompt consideration.
